Although lighting on national and local road system is considered a prerequisite for normal and safe driving, especially at night, unfortunately to this day this rule is not followed throughout the whole road network. When installing road lighting, we aim to achieve the best efficiency of energy reserves. Our main care is the right choice of lamps with long life-span and high energy efficiency. They should also direct light to the road surface in conjunction with the light intensity systems. In all instances, the level of light on the road network is determined by a special electromechanical service and is automated to work solely at night. Furthermore, there is the possibility to reduce lighting at very low mobility hours, to prevent unnecessary waste of energy.
